I thought the people of Streatham would be interested in an article written by Pappy's Fun Club, an award-winning comedy sketch group, about the sites of Streatham.

I have recently started a local group to help very lonely elderly people but it's already struggling and I'm trying to find a few more nice people to help just one or two Sunday afternoons a year.

Leah Levane has been the Streatham Town Centre Manager now for over 5 years at the time of writing. Before that Leah was a Grants Officer and also has 18 years in the voluntary sector. Leah has a lot of experience working with Voluntary groups, fundraising, managing a wide range of projects, but mostly itís been indirectly or directly community issues.

Police have said they are not treating an incident involving the Bishop of Southwark as a mugging. He reported the matter to police thinking he was robbed near his home in Streatham, south London.
