In a statement to the Commons, Cooper said there will be "a presumption" against publicly identifying officers facing criminal proceedings. The officer, known only by the cypher AY3, described "a very dramatic scene" unfolding as he gave evidence at the Old Bailey on Monday. Fellow armed officer Martyn Blake, 40, is on trial for the murder of Mr Kaba in Streatham, south-east London on September 5 2022. Mr Kaba, 24, was shot once through the windscreen of the Audi that he was driving as he tried to smash between a marked police patrol car and a parked car next to it. On Thursday, a Tactical Firearms Commander (TFC), referred to as HA62, gave evidence in the trial of Martyn Blake for the murder of 24-year-old Mr Kaba on September 5 2022. He had been on duty that night and had declared a firearms incident and ordered the "enforced stop with extraction" after a suspect Audi that Mr Kaba had been driving was identified in south London. Mike Lynch, the tech millionaire who remains missing after a superyacht sinking in Palermo, stood aside tragic Stephen Chamberlain in court. Sadly Chamberlain was critically injured in a collision in Cambridgeshire on Saturday morning and rushed to hospital to be treated. It has since been confirmed that he has died.
