Submitted by daniel on Wed, 18/10/2023 - 19:21 Body The Lunch Club is a recently formed charity that aims to provide freshly cooked lunches to people in need in Streatham, South London, and the surrounding area.The Lunch Club will open its doors on Friday 3rd November 2023, initially operating one day a week and serving food from 12:00 to 2:30. The initial projection will be to provide fifty meals a day through year one. The Lunch Club will be supporting people identified by Lambeth Council’s Food Poverty and Insecurity Action Plan who include low-income families, black and minority ethnic groups, men living alone, the homeless, people suffering from mental health issues, frail and poor older people, and people with disabilities.
