The 27-year-old pedestrian was struck in a collision on Streatham High Road, shortly after 1 am on Wednesday.

Emergency services attended the scene, including London’s Air Ambulance.

The A23, Streatham High Road was closed until 11am following a crash in the early hours.

A 27-year-old man has injuries which have been assessed as life-threatening and a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
