The organisers say: Donations: We have partnered with Brixton based upCYCLE to bring you a brand-new type of bike market! Bring along your outgrown, unwanted bikes to the market and put them to good use and donate them to a great project All donated bikes will be serviced by upCYCLE and checked by a qualified mechanic to ensure they are in good working order. The bikes will then be sold at bike markets run by Peddle My Wheels, with 100% of all sales proceeds going back to upCYCLE upCYCLE’s mission is simple; they provide free bikes, cycle training and bicycle maintenance workshops for young people from minority ethnic groups Buyers: You cannot reserve bikes, we sell on a first come basis You can pay by card or cash Please check our terms for your rights as a buyer More info Bike Market – Streatham Common Sunday, 26 November 2023, 10.00am to 4.00pm The Rookery, Streatham Free Please donate to Brixton Buzz To ensure editorial independence, Brixton Buzz accepts no advertising, sponsorship or funding.
