Your Local Guardian visited the pub on Streatham High Road on April 30 to explore the revamped facilities. Originally established as a Wetherspoon in December 1998, The Holland Tringham has undergone a complete makeover, including enhancements to the customer area, bar, and other amenities. The refurbishment encompasses redecoration throughout, featuring new light fixtures, carpets, and luxurious marble wall panels in the customer toilets. Ample seating options, including alcoves and spacious booths, provide a comfortable dining experience. New installations include a modernized bar, glass racks, drinks dispensers, glass wash facilities, and a dedicated coffee station. A fresh shop front with an internal lobby and improvements to the outdoor rear beer garden, including expanded seating, designated smoking areas, and enhanced exterior designs with mirrors, add to the pub's appeal. Behind the scenes, upgraded staff facilities have been introduced. Operating hours are from 8am to 12 midnight Sunday to Thursday, and from 8am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, with food served from opening until 11pm daily. Pub manager Reka Szigeti said: “The £800,000 investment highlights Wetherspoon’s commitment to the pub and its staff and customers, as well as to the local area itself. “I am delighted that we have also been able to create 20 new jobs for local people. “My team and I are looking forward to welcoming customers back into The Holland Tringham and we’re confident that they will be impressed by the new-look pub.” Web Link The Holland Tringham Wetherspoons in Streatham first look - This is Local London This is Local London
