Commuters may face a challenging journey to work this morning, with delays, suspensions and closure on five TfL lines.

The Hammersmith & City line was also partially suspended between Barking and Liverpool street, with minor delays on the rest of the line. There were also minor delays on the Metropolitan line between Aldgate and Baker Street

The picture is not looking great on the Tram either with part closures. There is currently no service between Sandilands and New Addington on the Tram.

Injured man in 'life threatening condition'

In Limehouse, a man in his 30s is fighting for his life after being struck by a car.

The event occurred yesterday, April 3, just before 9.50pm on Commercial Road, close to the Rotherhithe Tunnel.

Upon arrival, officers and London Ambulance staff discovered an injured guy. After being brought to the hospital for treatment, it was determined that his condition was life-threatening.

The 19-year-old motorist was taken into custody on suspicion of causing serious injuries through reckless driving.

A101 traffic resumed to normal

The traffic at A101 appears to have cleared up after an accident last night on Commercial street delayed traffic in the area.

Witnesses or anyone with any information or footage of the accident is asked to call 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting CAD 7951/03Apr.

Disruption between London Blackfriars and Bromley South

A fault on a train between London Blackfriars and Bromley South is causing disruption to journeys between these stations.

Trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes or diverted via Herne Hill.

Delays are anticipated until 1:15pm.

Good service on all lines

There is now a good service on all London Underground lines.

The Hammersmith and City line as well as the Circle line were reporting severe and minor delays early morning after a customer incident at Liverpool Street.

The Met reveals one arrest while second man fights for his life

The Met has now revealed in a statement that a 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, as a man is left fighting for his life.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Commercial Road, Limehouse at 9.47pm on Thursday, April 3. The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

"The driver, a 19-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody. Commercial Road was closed in both directions for recovery and investigation.”

A13 Commercial Road has reopened

It is understood that the road has been reopened after the crash, however, delays are anticipated in the area.

London Ambulance Service confirmed two people were taken to hospital after the accident.

Piccadilly line resumes good service

Picadilly line which was reporting minor delays earlier is now providing a good service across its line.

Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith and City lines are all still facing minor delays due to an earlier customer incident at Liverpool Street.

Two people in hospital after Limehouse crash

Commercial Road has been closed for 10 years in Limehouse after an accident last night.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson has now revealed more details about the accident in a statement saying that it took two people to different hospitals.

The London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.41pm on Thursday, April 3, to reports of a road traffic collision on Commercial Road, Limehouse. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager.

It added: "We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. Our first paramedics arrived on scene in five minutes.

“We treated two people. We took one patient to a major trauma centre and the other patient to a local hospital”

There are severe delays on the Hammersmith and City line and minor delays on the Circle line

The Hammersmith and City line is facing minor delays between Edgware Road and Hammersmith due to an earlier customer incident at Liverpool Street

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

The Circle line has also been impacted by the same customer incident at Liverpool Street and is experiencing minor delays.

Commercial Road in Limehouse shut after crash

Limehouse's Commercial Road has been partially stopped since 10pm last night while professionals conduct accident investigation work at the crash site, according to traffic and travel monitoring website Inrix.

Between Lowell Street and the A101 Rotherhithe Tunnel, the main route is closed and the accident's specifics are unknown.

There is a diversion for bus routes 15, 115, 135, and D3.
