These bite-sized masterpieces pack a punch, offering a kaleidoscope of perspectives and storytelling styles. Saturday, 5th April: Kid’s Corner Bring the little ones for a day of unique and beautiful films crafted especially for children. It’s a perfect opportunity to introduce young audiences to the magic of cinema while celebrating stories that reflect their world. Saturday, 5th April: Reel Black Lives & Environmental Focus Dive into powerful documentaries exploring Black lives across the UK, Europe, USA, Africa, and the Caribbean, interspersed with thought-provoking panel discussions featuring filmmakers and experts. The day also includes a special environmental focus, with fictional shorts, food growing, and bush medicine. Sunday, 6th April: Black Love Matters We close the weekend on a heartfelt note, we present fictional films that celebrate love in all its forms – from family and partners to friends, community, and self-love. These stories remind us of the universal power of connection, resilience, and the deep rapport that binds the African diaspora.
