Police are asking drivers to take extra care after four people were killed during a horror few days on the roads in Victoria's south-west.

It means that one-quarter of the 16 road deaths which have occurred in the region this year, happened over the space of just 60 hours.

A 20-year-old Warrnambool man died when the car he was driving rolled at Caramut, north of Warrnambool, on Sunday afternoon.

Woman dies after head-on crash in Streatham in western Victoria - ABC News

A woman has died after a head-on crash between two vehicles at Streatham in western Victoria.

Emergency services attended the scene, about an hour west of Ballarat, around 10:30am on Sunday.

The driver of one vehicle was able to be extricated safely.

The other driver, an as yet unidentified woman, died at the scene.

Emergency services remain at the scene of the incident.
