Perfect Blend

Perfect Blend Café - Bar - Restaurant is located opposite Streatham Hill Station on the Streatham High Road. Perfect blend opened in 2005 in it's current location but was previously located on the opposite side of the road for many years. Today Perfect blend is a fully licensed Café, Bar and Restaurant and to many residents, is just the sort of place that Streatham needed.

One of the first things I noticed upon entering Perfect Blend are the chairs underneath the extended canopy, which offers shade from sun and other elements. It was explained to me that they have just had new doors fitted that slide open, allowing for an al fresco style experience inside.

Inside, the venue is separated into two halves with non-smoking near the entrance and Food counter, while smoking is permitted near the bar, which also serves a good selection of cocktails made to your taste. Perfect Blend has great modern decor with good attention to details. Please note the 'I love Streatham' T-shirts that are on display and sold for £10 each. Other distinguishing features include Air Conditioning, a great view overlooking Streatham High Road.

Atmosphere

Perfect Blend has a good balance with it being popular with locals as well as attracting an element of passing trade. We were certainly made to feel welcome by the regulars who all spoke highly of Perfect Blend.

Service

This Independent Café, Bar and Restaurant has a but friendly but efficient service. We had pre-booked out table and when we arrived we were warmly received and quickly seated, and before long tucking into our food.

Food / Menu

Perfect Blend Bar is fully licensed and is open from 7.30am everyday and has a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Menu's and serves an all day Breakfast until 4pm. In the evening Perfect Blend stays open until 11pm and 10.30pm on Sunday's. 

Perfect Blend has an excellent evening menu with a good selection of food to satisfy most palates. this includes Red and White Meat, Fish, and some rather tasty Vegetarian dishes. Also of note are Perfect Blend's selection of generous Cocktails.

Bread and  Olives with Humous dip

Main

Pan Fried Bream, new potatoes, mange tout and fresh mint - £9.80
Tasty fish served on a bed of New Potatoes and Mange Tout, garnished with fresh Mint.

Caramalised stuffed onion, mushroom, asparagus, herb & Flower Salad -£7.50
A tasty Vegetarian dish that almost looks too good to eat.

Homemade Chips - £2.50
Chunky and delicious homemade chips.

Peach Creme Brulé - £3.55
Delicously sweet Carmelised dessert

Strawberry Cheesecake - £3.55
Fresh Creamy but Light Cheesecake

My friend asked the barman to make her something creamy. He pulled out his Black Cocktail Book and found a recipe to fit her description. The cocktails were a generous size and very well presented.

Summary

In less than a year after re-opening, Perfect Blend already has a reputation as being a great place to wine and dine. Perfect Blend's Café feel makes for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere which somewhat belie it's sophisticated menu and cuisine. Although not cheap, Perfect Blend offers a good selection of quality food and drinks including Draught Beers and Cocktails.

Perfect Blend is a great place to treat yourself at the end of the day. If you looking to impress your friend's with another reason to live in Streatham, or just want to relax and unwind,  then this is the place! Perfect Blend helps to put Streatham on the Map for the right reasons.
