All the Southern trains cancellations this weekend - This is Local London

The work will affect trains on March 9 only.

Services will resume as usual on March 8.

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

Sunday (March 9):

Engineering work is taking place in the Redhill area, closing all lines between Purley and Horley via Redhill.

At the end of Saturday service (Sunday morning), trains between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport will run to an amended timetable.

On Sunday, trains will be diverted and will not call at stations between Purley and Horley via Redhill.

Replacement buses will run between Purley and Redhill, Reigate, Horley and between Redhill and Tonbridge.

Direct trains between London Victoria and Reigate will not run.

Passengers should use alternative Southern or Thameslink trains between London and Purley to connect with a replacement bus to and from Reigate.

Some trains to and from London Victoria will have additional calls at Purley and Horley.

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Engineering work is also taking place between London Bridge and Streatham via Peckham Rye, closing some lines.

Buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Streatham via Peckham Rye, calling additionally at Herne Hill, Streatham Hill and Streatham Common, for additional connections.

Connecting trains will run between Streatham and East Croydon.

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Engineering work scheduled to take place in the Littlehampton area has been cancelled and will not take place.

Trains between Angmering and Littlehampton and between Littlehampton and Barnham will run as normal.
