Fettle's new workshop is located alongside Kwik Fit’s automotive centre on Streatham High Road.Jeyda said “We’ve had a fantastic response from cyclists in Streatham and are delighted some were able to join us for our opening celebrations. We know that the centre is on a very popular cycle commute, as many people in the area find that two wheels are a more convenient option for getting into the centre of the city than either the train or bus. Urban mobility is changing rapidly and research shows that ever more businesses and individuals are looking for alternative ways to cover short journeys. We want to support those people switching to bikes or e-bikes and the team here are ready to help with any queries people may have about their bikes.”Over the past three years, Fettle has built a fast-growing bike repair network, providing repairs and servicing across London, Cambridge and Bristol. Its approach has attracted interest from investors, and earlier this year, Fettle was acquired by the Kwik fit Group for an undisclosed fee. Established in 1971, the Kwik Fit Group is one of the largest independent automotive parts, repair and replacement specialists in the UK and the Netherlands, with over 600 service centres across the UK and more than 200 mobile tyre fitting vehicles. The Streatham team is led by workshop manager Juan Ramirez. His previous role was in Fettle’s Hampstead workshop and is now ready to help cyclists in Streatham with any bike problems they may have, whether they are riding a classic mechanical bike or the latest electric cargo bike. “I’m delighted that we’ve opened in Streatham – not least because it’s a much shorter ride from my home in Crystal Palace! Not only is it a great location on a busy bike route, we know that many customers droppingtheir cars at Kwik Fit for a service also have bikes they need servicing. Many people are both motorist and cyclist so it’s great to be able to bring servicing and repair for cars and bikes together in one place.” Image Fettle allows customers to book online with a variety of clear and transparent servicing and repair options including a Bicycle MOT, with all customers receiving an upfront quote before any work goes ahead. Customers can also have their bike collected and delivered if required, with Fettle using a cargo-bike and trailer for this service. This enables them to use cycle lanes, keeping delivery times to a minimum by avoiding any congestion which would delay a regular delivery van. Web Link Fettle - Streatham Streatham Life
