Mr Reed will be returning to his role as MP after serving as MP for Croydon North since 2012, as well as shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since September 2023. Mr Reed’s previous seat for Croydon North was abolished this year and replaced by Streatham and Croydon North as the new constituency. In second place was the Green Party with 17.1 votes up from 12.7 percent from the elections in 2019, whilst the Conservative Party received 12 percent of the vote, a decrease by 6.8 percent from the last election.
