Michael Morfey has been described in court as “Marvellous Mike” as a result of his running prowess. A judge has heard that his second wife, Karen, died in 2021 and left him nothing in her will despite the couple having been together for 18 years. Instead, the retired teacher bequeathed her £600,000 house in south London to her two children, Alexander and Emma Davies, in equal shares. She only granted her husband the right to stay in the property for a year after her death.
