We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend. September 7 (Saturday) There's engineering work happening between Preston Park and Angmering this Saturday evening. All train lines will be closed. The 11.16pm train from London Victoria to Chichester end its journey at Brighton instead. A replacement bus will then take passengers from Brighton to Chichester, stopping at all stations along the way. September 8 (Sunday) Due to engineering work between Preston Park/Brighton and Angmering, all train lines are closed in that area. Buses will replace trains between Brighton and Worthing/Littlehampton. Trains from London Victoria to Littlehampton will now only run between London Victoria and Brighton. Trains that usually run between London Victoria/Brighton and Portsmouth Harbour/Southampton Central will now only run between Littlehampton and Portsmouth Harbour or Southampton Central. Passengers can use paper tickets in Brighton & Hove bus routes 1, 2, 6, 7, 46, and 49. September 8 (Sunday) Southern trains between London Victoria or London Bridge to Epsom/Dorking/Caterham will be affected by construction work between Tulse Hill and Sutton. Trains won't go through Mitcham Junction. Trains from London Victoria to Dorking will take a different route, stopping at Streatham Common, Selhurst and stations via West Croydon. Trains from London Bridge to Caterham (via Peckham Rye) will also be diverted and will not call at stations between East Croydon and Tulse Hill via Selhurst. They will stop at Norwood Junction and Crystal Palace. Passengers can use paper tickets on buses between Tulse Hill and Streatham or Sutton. Paper can also be used on trams between Wimbledon and East Croydon via Mitcham Junction. September 8 (Sunday) Southern trains will be affected between London Victoria, Worthing, and Brighton. Engineering work is happening between Three Bridges and Brighton, closing some lines on Sunday morning. From 2.30am to 5.45pm on Sunday, buses will replace trains between: Three Bridges/Haywards Heath and Brighton, and Brighton and Hove/Worthing.
