Streatham Place Brixton stabbing: Suspect on loose

Suspect on the loose after late night stabbing in south London - Sutton & Croydon Guardian

Emergency services were called to Streatham Place this morning (June 27) at 2.24am.

It is believed that the stabbing victim, a man in his 40s, was stabbed in Brixton Hill.

He was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening of life-changing.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 2.24am on Thursday, 27 June to reports of a man suffering from stab injuries in Streatham Place, SW2.

"The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were deemed to be not life-threatening or life-changing.

"It is believed that he was stabbed in Brixton Hill, SW9.

"No arrests have been made.
