The scheme involves demolishing a low-rise former joiners yard and replacing it with a four-storey apartment block. A pair of two-bed flats will be created on the ground floor while a single three-bed home will occupy the top level. Backed by developer Belmont Property, the project will see the former Rowans Surgery demolished. The plot will then be developed into a row of three-storey, three-bedroom family homes broken into a trio of terraces. Designed to fit the character of their suburban residential surrounds, the houses will have brick exteriors with 'henge-like' stone porches, large windows and dormer roofs.
