It is expected that the work will continue until the end of the week. Lambeth Council is monitoring Thames Water’s management of the works to minimise disruption and ensure they are completed as soon as possible. We are working to ensure people can still access Leigham Court Road while the repairs are ongoing. The music segment of Streatham Festival, the event runs as a one-day musical “pub crawl” showcasing 10 free live bands along and around Streatham High Street. The route starts in Streatham Hill at 1pm with band 1 playing in venue 1, and then band 2 playing in venue 2, and so on up until 10pm for the final act at The Rabbit Hole down near Streatham Common. The Tesco Extra at Streatham High Road has joined forces with charity In Kind Direct and suppliers Unilever, Kimberley Clark, Essity and Haleon, which supply well-known household brands such as Radox, Persil, Andrex, Bodyform, and Sensodyne. Until 3 October 2023, for every two purchases by Tesco customers from a selection of essential hygiene products, a third product will be donated directly to charity.
