Southern train cancellations in Croydon this weekend

The work will affect trains from December 7 (Saturday) and December 8 (Sunday).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

Saturday and Sunday (December 7 and December 8):

Engineering work is taking place between Littlehampton and Barnham, Bognor Regis, and Chichester, closing all lines.

No Southern trains will run between Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central.

Trains will run between London stations and Brighton and Littlehampton and also between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour.

Buses will replace trains between Littlehampton and Barnham, Bognor Regis, and Chichester.

Journey times will be increased on replacement buses.

On Saturday, from approximately 8pm until the end of service, from the start of service until 12pm on Sunday and from approximately 9pm on Sunday evening until the end of service, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

Sunday (December 8):

Engineering work is taking place between Peckham Rye and Streatham, closing all lines.

Buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Streatham.

Trains will operate between Streatham and East Croydon.

Journey times will be increased on replacement buses.

No trains will call at Redhill.

Trains will be diverted and will not call at stations via Redhill.

Additionally, no Southern trains will run between Reigate and London or between Tonbridge and Redhill.
