There will two performances: 11.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm They say: Join us as we premier three completely new productions. Firstly, we have, ‘The Night of Reckoning,’ created by Lloyd Curtis and devised by the BMC theatre company. Next up is ‘Farther,’ a piece by Seun Okewole. Greens demand more openness and accountability from Lambeth Council Submitted by daniel on Fri, 18/10/2024 - 07:00 Picture Image At Wednesday’s full council meeting, Green Party councillors’ questions went unanswered as they highlighted peoples’ concerns that so many residents’ and workers’ voices were not being heard across the borough. The Capital Programme for 2024-2028 report was discussed and Cllr Ainslie, Leader of the Green Group of councillors on the council, asked if Streatham was getting its fair share of development money. He also pointed out the lack of detail on where the money is being spent, adding that the only location-specific projects were in the north and centre of the borough. Streatham and Croydon North MP Steve Reed under scrutiny for accepting football hospitality from company linked to water industry Submitted by daniel on Thu, 26/09/2024 - 10:20 Picture Image Steve Reed, Labour MP for Streatham and Croydon North, and the current Cabinet Member for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, is facing scrutiny after it emerged that he accepted a hospitality package worth £1,786 to attend a football match between Chelsea and Crystal Palace. The hospitality, provided in December 2023 while Reed was Shadow Environment Secretary, was paid for by Hutchison 3G UK Ltd, a subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings. This parent company also owns a 75% stake in Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings, the owner of Northumbria Water.
