The picture is not looking great at London’s Limehouse either after an accident last night caused a busy East London road to close. According to traffic and travel monitoring website Inrix, Commercial Road in Limehouse has been partially closed since 10pm last night while professionals conduct accident investigation work. The main route is closed between Lowell Street and the A101 Rotherhithe Tunnel. Commercial Road, which runs between Whitechapel and Limehouse and is around two miles long, passes through the East End. The accident's specifics are unknown as of now. We’ll keep you up to date with the major travel developments as the day progresses. Follow the latest updates below... Full list of TfL's rejected Overground line names revealed As part of the £6.3 million rebranding exercise last year, the whole list of names that were considered for the London Overground's six lines has been made public. According to TfL, some of the names were rejected because it was decided to honour groups rather than individuals, others because they were difficult to hear clearly on announcements or might have been confused with words that are important for safety, and still others because there was a chance that they would be shortened or used as slurs. The rejected names include Sunflower line, Willow line, Skylark line, and more. You can see the full list here. Good service on all lines There is currently a good service on all lines. The Bakerloo line, which was facing some delays, has also resumed to a good service. Amended late night Avanti West Coast service Engineering work is taking place overnight on the fast lines between Wolverton and Rugby, closing all lines from Tuesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 3. The following services will be diverted via Northampton, extending journey times: Good service resumes on the Elizabeth line The Elizabeth line has returned back to its normal service after serious delays in the early hours of Tuesday. The Bakerloo line is still facing minor delays between Queen's Park and Elephant & Castle due to a shortage of trains. But there is still a good service on the rest of the line. This would be less expensive than renting a dockless e-bike from Lime or Forest, according to TfL, whose bikes are emblazoned with Santander logos because of the sponsorship agreement. However, Forest stated that its bikes were also available for £3. A variety of payment methods are available from Lime and Forest, two companies that have become market leaders in London's rental bike industry. Read more about it here. Serious delays on the A2 Traffic is slow on approach to Old Kent Road with delays back to Commercial Way. The delays are due to an earlier broken down vehicle.
